Dimplex Opti-Virtual®

With Opti-Virtual® Dimplex adds an extra category of ambient fireplaces to its collection of fireplaces. While Opti-Virtual® is an electric fire, it goes further by creating an illusion of fire with lifelike flames, crackling and sparks that even seem to jump away.

The technique is based on Pepper's Ghost. A principle that manages to show 'apparitions' as illusions and is mainly used at major attractions, on stage and in museums. Dimplex has refined the technique for the new Opti-Virtual®, which can be easily placed in any room to suit your taste.

Dimplex Opti-myst®

You keep looking at it!
The Opti-myst® fire display puts an end to the 'flat fire' in electric fireplaces. Dimplex has developed a 3-dimensional fire image with smoke effect. Never before has electric fire burned so realistically.

Friendly in use
You can place electric fireplaces wherever you want. Just 'plug and play'. They are kind to the environment, easy to use and safe for children's hands. However real the fire looks, the fire does not get hot. We recommend replacing the transducer in the fireplace at least once a year, depending on use.

Only power and water needed
A water reservoir, light (LED or halogen), heat and an evaporator create revolutionary flames, indistinguishable from real fire. On a full reservoir, the fire burns for 8-10 hours. The released ultra-thin water vapour also adds to the moisture management in the home.

Dimplex Optiflame®

The patented electric 'Optifl ame® technology' provides a controllable and realistic flame effect that can be easily controlled with the remote control. The lighting of the wood set uses the latest LED technology, which makes the logs seem to glow.
