The Dimplex Sunningdale is a classic freestanding stove with the modern technology of an electric fire. The lifelike experience of the fire, with crackling and sparks, is thanks to the patented Opti-V technology. A built-in heating element makes the experience complete. The stove can provide additional heating of 1 or 2 KW as required. The fire comes complete with remote control.

With the Opti-Virtual technology, Dimplex is adding a new generation of decorative fires to its already enormous range. It may well be an electric fire, but the Dimplex Sunningdale goes further by creating the illusion of fire with a lifelike flame effect, crackling and even sparks that seem to spring into the air.
The technology is based on Pepper’s Ghost, a principle that is applied to create illusions and which is often used in amusement parks, on stage and in museums. Dimplex has refined the technique.

The Sunningdale is exceptionally easy to install. You just plug it in to immediately enjoy the beautiful flame effect created by the extraordinary Opti-Virtual technology. The LED lighting means that you’re assured of the lamps’ long life and economical energy consumption. A module provides the sound of a real crackling fire and you can operate the fire itself with the remote control from the comfort of your chair.
The fire can also provide a limited amount of heat. It has a thermostat and can generate 1 or 2 KW of heat as required.

Het enigste nadeel is de afstandsbediening, dat je wel heel dichtbij de kachel moet gebruiken , maar dat wist ik al . En vind het dan ook niet zo’n probleem.
Omdat we niet ver van Tilburg wonen heb ik de kachel opgehaald in de showroom van vuurkorfwinkel.nl . Werd zeer vriendelijk geholpen en mijn kachel werd netjes in de auto gezet . Helemaal happy
