Therefore, we offer warranty options to help you in such situations. In these warranty terms, we want to inform you about the warranty conditions and your rights as a customer.
Manufacturer's warranty
All our products come with a 1 or 2-year manufacturer's warranty, depending on the manufacturer. This warranty covers manufacturing and other defects that occur within the warranty period. Should your item fail due to a manufacturing defect, we will provide a suitable solution. This can range from a free repair to exchanging the product for a new one.
Legal rights
In addition to the manufacturer's warranty, you also retain your legal rights regarding warranty and conformity. These rights are laid down by law and are designed to protect you as a consumer. They enable you to claim warranty and receive a product that meets your reasonable expectations of it.
Defective upon receipt
Always check your product carefully upon receipt. Should you notice any damage immediately upon receipt, please notify us within 5 working days. You can do this by contacting our customer service and reporting the transport and product damage. It is important to attach photos of the damaged product and packaging. The product should not be used before returning it.
Warranty certificate
At Firepit-online.com, the invoice for your order acts as proof of warranty. We therefore request that you keep a copy of the invoice, as it may be requested when making a warranty claim. In some cases, a warranty booklet is also included with the product. Here you can read the specific guarantee conditions again at your leisure.
Exclusions
Although we strive to provide high-quality products, there are some situations where the warranty does not apply. These situations include unevenness, minimal deviations, deformations, bulges, colour differences in the enamelling (on different metals) and rusting due to weathering or improper use of chemicals. In addition, the warranty does not cover defects caused by misuse, improper installation, changes to the product, improper maintenance or repair work, failure to carry out normal routine maintenance, or wear and tear due to professional use.
Our warranty combined with your legal rights as a consumer provide a strong basis to ensure that you are satisfied with your purchase. The fire bowl is packaged and delivered either wrapped in plastic film or in a box. Our fire bowls are stored outdoors, which means the natural rusting process has already started before the fire bowl arrives at your home. It is therefore normal for the colour to be slightly uneven upon delivery. Over time, the surface will naturally develop a more even, deep colour.
How hot does a fire bowl get?
Temperatures can become extremely high. The fire itself can quickly reach 600°C to 800°C, while the rim, base and sides of the fire bowl can also become extremely hot. Never touch the fire bowl with bare hands during or after use, and keep children and pets at a safe distance.
Where should I place my fire bowl?
Place your fire bowl on a flat, stable and heat-resistant surface, such as heat-resistant paving stones (for example granite or basalt) or gravel. Keep a minimum distance of 1.5 to 2 metres from flammable materials and objects, such as your house, fence or overhanging branches. Before use, check whether any local fire or burning restrictions are in place in your area.
Can I leave my fire bowl outside all year round?
Yes, our fire bowls are made from high-quality materials that can withstand all weather conditions. However, the lifespan may vary depending on the material. To keep dirt and moisture out, you can cover the fire bowl with a suitable protective cover or lid when it is not in use. This will help extend its lifespan, but it will not prevent rust.
Why are there holes in the bottom of my fire bowl?
These holes provide drainage and airflow. They prevent rainwater from collecting in the fire bowl, helping to reduce rust and stagnant, dirty water. At the same time, they allow extra oxygen to reach the fire from below, resulting in better combustion.
Do BonFeu grill grates and planchas fit MOODZ fire bowls?
Yes, BonFeu grill grates and planchas (cooking plates) fit perfectly on MOODZ fire bowls. Both the full-size and half-size versions are compatible.
