The right size fire bowl depends on a number of factors:

- Number of seats
- Desired accessories
Example situation: a small city garden of 16 m², 2-3 seats, preferably with the possibility of a grill grate. In this case, a 60 cm size is an excellent choice. In addition, BonFeu brand grill grills are very pleasant to use and of high quality.
Where to place a firebowl?
Ideally, place a fire bowl on an old garden tile to prevent heat release on beautiful garden tiles or grass. A base plate can also take heat, but will still allow heat to pass through to the ground. Due to its open character, the fire in the fire bowl is quite open. So always place the fire bowl on a flat surface that is level as much as possible.
Due to the heat release under the fire bowl and the open character of a fire bowl, it is not recommended to place a fire bowl on a wooden floor or table.
What do you need for a fire bowl?
To use a fire bowl, good lighting products such as firelighters, wood shavings and firewood are needed. In addition, long matches or a magnesium stick to safely light the fire are very handy. Want to make enjoying the fire a little safer? Use a suitable spark screen to stop jumping sparks. In addition, a good surface as described above is necessary to prevent permanent heat spots.
Fire bowl after use: cleaning and storage
Very important when using a fire bowl: let the ashes cool well before discarding. Remove the ashes with a hand broom and discard in a seperate rubbish bag. For example, place a fire bowl lid on the fire bowl to prevent moisture and dirt from entering the fire bowl or use a protective cover for protection against discolouration and moisture.
