All our products come with a 1 or 2-year manufacturer's warranty, depending on the manufacturer. This warranty covers manufacturing and other defects that occur within the warranty period. Should your item fail due to a manufacturing defect, we will provide a suitable solution. This can range from a free repair to exchanging the product for a new one.
Legal rights
In addition to the manufacturer's warranty, you also retain your legal rights regarding warranty and conformity. These rights are laid down by law and are designed to protect you as a consumer. They enable you to claim warranty and receive a product that meets your reasonable expectations of it.
Defective upon receipt
Always check your product carefully upon receipt. Should you notice any damage immediately upon receipt, please notify us within 5 working days. You can do this by contacting our customer service and reporting the transport and product damage. It is important to attach photos of the damaged product and packaging. The product should not be used before returning it.
Warranty certificate
At Firepit-online.com, the invoice for your order acts as proof of warranty. We therefore request that you keep a copy of the invoice, as it may be requested when making a warranty claim. In some cases, a warranty booklet is also included with the product. Here you can read the specific guarantee conditions again at your leisure.
Exclusions
Although we strive to provide high-quality products, there are some situations where the warranty does not apply. These situations include unevenness, minimal deviations, deformations, bulges, colour differences in the enamelling (on different metals) and rusting due to weathering or improper use of chemicals. In addition, the warranty does not cover defects caused by misuse, improper installation, changes to the product, improper maintenance or repair work, failure to carry out normal routine maintenance, or wear and tear due to professional use.

An electric fireplace with Opti-myst technology requires some maintenance. Empty and clean the water tank regularly and use demineralised or distilled water to help prevent limescale build-up on the mist generator. Carefully clean the mist generator if limescale does build up, as this can reduce mist production. Regularly remove dust and marks from the glass and housing, and keep the ventilation openings clear to ensure proper operation.

Opti-myst is a unique technology that uses water to create the appearance of flames. An ultrasonic vaporiser turns the water into a fine mist, which rises and is illuminated from below by warm LED lighting. This creates a realistic 3D flame effect with 'smoke' that moves naturally through the air. The effect is completely safe to touch, making Opti-myst ideal for households with children or pets.
