Easy to use and versatile 

The Solo Stove Ranger is easy to use and allows beginners and professionals alike to light a beautiful fire. Thanks to the 360° Signature Airflow, you create smokeless flames in no time. Cleaning is easy thanks to the patented removable ash tray. As the wood burns, the burnt remains fall into the special ash drawer under the bottom plate. When the fire basket (and the ashes) have cooled down completely, lift the bottom plate and easily remove the ash drawer. Then empty and reinsert the ash drawer before storing the fire basket. You can also close the Ranger with a lid after use, preventing leftover fire residues from reigniting. 

Cooking on a cast-iron plancha 

If desired, the Solo Stove Ranger can be expanded with a cast-iron plancha and/or grill plate to prepare your favourite dishes anywhere. The plates are easily installed on the included adapter specially designed for the Ranger. From frying an egg to grilling a steak, the cooking plates turn your Ranger into a versatile cooker. 

What should you pay attention to? 

- Make sure you do not stack the wood higher than the height of the top ventilation holes to ensure no smoke is released. 
- For the optimal smoke-free experience, use high-quality dried (hard) wood with low moisture content, such as oak or maple. 
- Make sure the logs are close to the inner wall of the fire basket for the most efficient combustion. Start with 3 to 4 logs. 
- Do not touch the fire basket while burning and after burning, let it cool for at least one hour before emptying the ash pan or storing the fire basket. Treat the fire basket the same as an open fire. 
- Take great care when using the fire basket on a wooden surface to prevent charring or ignition. Make sure the fire basket stands sufficiently high and free, and use the stand provided at all times.  
- Never leave the burning fire basket unattended, even while it is cooling down. Hot ashes may reignite. If necessary, use the lid to keep the ashes from escaping.
