Höfats BOWL 70 fire bowl
The höfats BOWL 70 is the larger version of the BOWL fire bowl, with a generous 70-centimetre diameter. The bigger size gives you more space for logs and for cooking. You can choose between two versions: the BOWL 70 with a low star base or the BOWL 70 with a taller base. Both versions are also available as a set with a plancha plate, so you can enjoy both atmospheric fire and a fully fledged outdoor cooking station.
The steel bowl can be tilted. Set it level for an open fire bowl where everyone has a good view of the flames. Tilt the bowl slightly forwards to shelter the fire from the wind and direct the heat more towards one side. This is useful when you are sitting with a smaller group on one side or want to bring the warmth closer to you.
Low-smoke fire with two-stage airflow
At the bottom of the bowl sits a removable ash tray with a two-part ventilation system. This two-stage airflow ensures a constant supply of fresh air to the fire, regardless of the angle of the bowl. As a result, the wood burns more efficiently and more cleanly, with noticeably less smoke. Because the combustion is so complete, relatively little ash remains. Once everything has cooled down, you simply remove the ash tray from the bowl to empty the ash and clean the fire bowl.
Cooking with a plancha
With the right accessories, the BOWL 70 becomes a generously sized grilling station. The plancha distributes heat evenly across the cooking surface. Any moisture released from the food evaporates quickly and forms a thin layer between the plate and the food. This means you need little to no added fat, and you still get a nicely browned crust while the inside stays tender and juicy. With a grill grate you cook directly over the fire, ideal for larger cuts of meat, vegetables or, for example, corn on the cob.
BOWL 70 with star base
The version with star base sits low to the ground and pairs well with a lounge set, low chairs or floor cushions. The stainless steel star base has three contact points with the ground and three with the bowl, providing a stable foundation even when the bowl is tilted. Combined with a plancha set, the low BOWL 70 becomes a compact outdoor kitchen with plenty of cooking surface.
BOWL 70 with tripod
The BOWL 70 with high base stands higher, at roughly hip height. This version is especially comfortable if you grill a lot or prefer to stand while cooking. The tripod frame gives the bowl a light, open look while still offering a solid, secure base. In combination with a plancha set, you get a comfortable working height for cooking and grilling without having to bend down all the time.
Durable and practical in use
The enamelled bowl in matte black gives the BOWL 70 a calm, modern look. The base, whether you choose the star base or the tripod, is made from stainless steel and is designed for long-term outdoor use.
