The brand Cyclus
Cyclus is a Dutch brand that focuses on the development of fully sustainable garden products. Through the recycling and upcycling of washing machine drums, they have put the Ecodrum on the market. Upcycling means using an old product again, but also refurbishing it to make a new (recognisable or unrecognisable) product. In this way, they want to reduce the amount of waste and produce in an environmentally friendly way. Not only the Cyclus Ecodrum is made of recycled products, also the box (FSC certified), the packaging material, the logo plate and the tape are made of recycled material. Cyclus Ecodrum HD stainless steel
The Ecodrum HD fire pit is an unique fire pit. HD stands for Hexadrum which is derived from the hexagonal pattern (hexa) that is spread across the entire fire pit. This pattern makes the fire pit very special as most washing machine drums have a round pattern. The hexagonal pattern gives a beautiful pattern during the stoking of the fire through the holes of the fire pitwhich is a very special sight. The fire pit is smooth on the outside which gives it a beautifully finished and luxurious appearance.
Cyclus Ecodrum GD Stainless steel
Besides the Hexadrum Cyclus also has the Ecodrum GD in their range of sustainable fire pits. The Ecodrum GD owes its name to the round holes (geo) in the old washing machine drum. Because of the many holes next to each other, the fire pit lights up when a fire is lit and not only does the fire provide fine warmth, but also a beautiful atmospheric light in the garden. The finishing of the fire pit is a lot rougher than that of the Ecodrum HD. The exterior has the original holes from the washing machine drum and therefore has a more industrial look.
The Ecodrum GD is available in two sizes. The Medium fire pit has a height of 47 cm and is perfect for a good fire. The Large Ecodrum, on the other hand, has a height of 53 cm, allowing you to build a considerably higher fire. This is of course a great advantage when a larger group is gathered around the fire pitand you wish for more heat emission. The Ecodrum GD gives a beautiful distribution of light, so you can watch this scene for hours.

Both models have holes all around. Because of the large amount of oxygen that goes into the fire pit, the fire in these fire pits can burn well and you get a fantastic play of flames.
