A great accessory for the Piatto Montabile is the Montabile grill small. This grill fits in the middle of the Montabile Small and widens the cooking surface of the Montabile cooking unit. Simply place the grill in the center of the baking tray and the surface is fully utilized.

Clean the Grill

Steel objects that are stored outside can rust. It is therefore wise to always keep the grill in a dry place if it is not used. It is best to clean the grill when the grill is still hot. With a spatula you scrape the food scraps from the grill into the fire and you can remove the grill, when it has cooled, with a wet cloth to remove the fat. However, grease is not bad for a grill and gives grease a protective layer over the grill against rust.
