Before use, fill the fire basket with charcoal and precisely adjust the temperature via the ventilation openings at the bottom and top. The Fyregg 13 is designed to maintain temperatures from 110°C for slow cooking up to 370°C for searing meat. With the integrated thermometer in the lid, you can closely monitor the cooking process without losing valuable heat.

How to keep your brown kamado in top condition

Maintenance is simple, as the barbecue largely self-cleans when left at approximately 260°C for about 30 minutes after use. Never use water or cleaning agents for the interior; the porous ceramic walls can absorb them, so a soft brush is sufficient to remove residue. The exterior of the brown housing can simply be wiped with a damp cloth once it has cooled down.
