How to use the HEAT Kamado Fyregg 13?

Before use, fill the fire basket with charcoal, adjusting the airflow via the lower ventilation opening and the top vent to precisely reach the desired temperature. The Fyregg 13 is designed to maintain temperatures ranging from 110°C for low & slow cooking up to 370°C for searing meat. Thanks to the built-in thermometer in the lid, you can closely monitor the cooking process without allowing heat to escape.

Maintenance and cleaning of the ceramic barbecue

Maintaining the kamado is simple, as the barbecue largely self-cleans when left at a temperature of approximately 260°C for 30 minutes after use. Never use water or cleaning agents to clean the interior, as the porous ceramic walls may absorb them; a soft brush is sufficient to remove residue. The exterior of the black housing can simply be wiped with a damp cloth once the barbecue has completely cooled down.
