Bunch of fire sticks (approx. 25) in paper wrapper.(ø 6 x 21 cm). These fire sticks are 100% natural fire sticks for fireplace, barbeque, fire pit, fire bowl or terrace heater.

Simply hold a small flame to the fire stick and it will catch fire. The fire sticks are made of the Ocote pine tree (Pinus Oocarpa) from Guatemala. After falling or after a natural forest fire the root system of the Ocote continues to produce sap. The tree stump becomes saturated with resin. Sometimes up to 80%. The wood from these stumps is extremely flammable. The Mayas knew about this thousands of years ago and used this wood to start their fires.
