Bake and grill with a robust cast-iron griddle from Esschert. Place the griddle on a suitable fire bowl with a diameter of 60 cm and the baking fun can begin. Advantage of a cast iron griddle

Cast iron is a robust and strong material that can withstand high temperatures. Cast iron retains heat for a long time and releases it gradually. This is perfect for a garden fireplace during a cold winter evening but also for a griddle. Place the griddle on a suitable fire bowl and let it get well warm. Pour some oil on it or make sure the ingredients are greasy enough for the grill and you can start baking.

The nice thing about this griddle is the different zones. There are two zones closed, two zones open and two zones where there is a ridge on the plate. These different zones allow you to use different cooking techniques.

Baking on a Ø60 cm firebowl

Do you have a 60 cm diameter fire bowl? Then this baking tray is the perfect addition to it. With this baking tray, you can use your fire bowl not only for heat, but also for baking and grilling. The grill plate fits perfectly on this size fire bowl, so grilling and baking will be easy.

Please note that the grill plate gets very hot so let it cool down well or use gloves when removing the baking tray.
