Simple installation

The Grand Rouge is freestanding and requires no complex installation; you simply place it where you want and plug it into the socket. Fill the water reservoir located under the log set and turn on the fireplace. "Flames" will be visible within a minute. Increase or decrease the flames using the knobs and enjoy 8 to 10 hours of operation on a single refill.

Maintenance of an Optimyst fireplace

For a water vapour fireplace, it is important to clean and dry the components thoroughly and regularly. Remove the transducer and the water basin at least once a month. Clean and dry them, and place them back in the fireplace. This prevents limescale buildup and prolongs the lifespan of your fireplace.

Lifelike Optimyst flame effect

This fireplace uses the advanced Optimyst flame effect, which simulates an incredibly realistic and three-dimensional fire. This effect is created by halogen lamps that illuminate fine water vapour, generated by a transducer and a fan from a water reservoir located beneath the log set.
