If you have a BonFeu fireplace, then the plancha is the perfect accessory! You place the griddle on the ring that fits precisely on the top of the BonFeu fireplace. Remove the lid, the grill grate, and place the plancha over the opening. The fire in the fireplace heats the plate, allowing you to cook deliciously outdoors. The possibilities are endless; all you need is a bit of olive oil and a spatula. Purchase an oil can for the olive oil to complete the cooking experience.
Maintenance and cleaning
The plancha is very easy to clean. You can easily slide food residues and excess oil directly into the fire using the spatula. Then, clean the plancha with a damp cloth. Lightly oil the plancha so it's ready for the next use.
Note: Always store the plancha oiled (at room temperature) to prevent rust damage.
