This all-in-one skillet is the perfect addition to any kitchen. The skillet has a height of 5 cm so that the pan is not only good for grilling or baking vegetables, but also making a sauce, cake or even lasagna is certainly possible in this pan. The raised edges, like the bottom, have a natural non-stick coating and can therefore also be used as a baking tin.

Use cast iron pan for the first time

Cast iron will naturally stick meat and other ingredients. To sizes the pan is used, build up a natural greasy non-stick coating and paste will be a thing of the past.

Give the pan a moment to create this layer or use the burn-in technique to give the pan this protective layer. Burning is always a good idea, which means that the risk of rust is much smaller and the cast iron remains of high quality.

Skillet with thick bottom

Because the skillet has been developed with a touch of “ Dutch oven ”, the bottom of the pan is thicker than most comparable products. So take this into account when heating the pan, this may take longer than you are used to.

On the other hand, the skillet can be used even better as a ‘ slow cooker ’ and the heat remains in the pan for longer. However, this cast iron skillet is lighter than most comparable Dutch ovens.
