Unser Aztekenofen hat eine sehr poröse und abfärbende Oberfläche; beim Berühren färbt der Ofen mächtig rot ab. Unsere Hoffnung war, dass die Poren sich schließen und versiegelt werden, der Ofen witterungsbeständiger und nicht mehr abfärbend ist. Trotz vieler Anstriche, auch naß in naß, färbt der Ofen nach wie vor ab; von der ehemaligen Glasur ist nicht viel übrig. Die Oberfläche ist so stark saugend, dass der Anstrich sofort einzieht. Aber weniger abfärben und Oberflächenversiegelung können nicht erreicht werden. Vielleicht gibt es ein anderes Produkt zur Oberflächenbehandlung, welches auch feuerfest ist ?
