Garden fireplaces with spark guard
A spark guard, also known as a fire screen, stops sparks from a garden fire and thus protects children, for example, from the flying sparks of an open fire. Stoking open fires on wood has a lot of charm, but sparks flying away, especially from resinous wood, can cause unexpected surprises. So with a spark screen or spark arrester, you can stoke your fire without any worries.
Installation of a garden fire with spark arrester
A garden fire with spark arrester is best placed on a flat, stable surface such as a tiled terrace, a stone floor or a heat-resistant plate. This prevents the fire from falling over and ensures there is no fire risk from sparks or heat. Place the fireplace at a safe distance from furniture, plants and canopies to prevent smoke development and damage. In addition, a spark screen stops flying sparks, but hardly affects heat output. The heat still radiates well through the screen, allowing you to fully enjoy a cosy fire without the risk of sparks jumping away.
Installing a garden fireplace with spark screen
A spark screen offers extra safety and comfort when using a fireplace or fire basket. It prevents sparks and burning particles from escaping, significantly reducing the risk of fire and damage to floors or furniture. It also makes it safer for children and pets to stay nearby without danger. Note: never leave a fireplace unattended or with children or animals in the fire.
