The unique design of the OFYR Island not only creates a show-cooking effect, but is also very functional. The conical fire bowl has a wide, flat rim that functions as a baking plate/plancha. From the centre, the heat radiates in a smooth gradient, allowing for multiple cooking temperatures. Whether you are frying eggs, slow cooking vegetables or grilling a tender steak, cooking on the OFYR is a joy!
The 12-millimetre thick baking plate is available with a diameter of 100 or 85 cm. The plate is heated up to approximately 300˚C by the wood fire in the fire bowl (coal is also an option, but is less fun because it does not burn). Grease the plate with oil and bake. The cooking surface is very large: the 100 cm diameter plate can easily accommodate 50 people.
Simple to use and easy to clean
In contrast to other outdoor kitchen appliances, the OFYR is very easy to clean and virtually maintenance-free. Food remains and excess oil end up directly in the fire. The baking plate is very easy to clean with a spatula because all the dirt can be pushed into the fire. Afterwards, just wipe with a damp cloth and your OFYR is ready for use again.
Thanks to its three-part modular design, the OFYR can be easily moved around. The baking tray, the fire bowl and the workbench with wood storage can easily be lifted and moved separately.The cone has a 2cm hole which allows rainwater to drain neatly.
The OFYR Island is available in different versions
With this OFYR Island Black, the cutting board is available in three different variants. You can choose between wood (rubberwood) and two colours of ceramic (light grey and dark grey). The wooden cutting board should be stored indoors after use. The ceramic cutting boards, on the other hand, can simply be left outside on the workbench of the OFYR Island. Above you can simply indicate your preference.

Exclusions
Although we strive to provide high-quality products, there are some situations where the warranty does not apply. These situations include unevenness, minimal deviations, deformations, bulges, colour differences in the enamelling (on different metals) and rusting due to weathering or improper use of chemicals. In addition, the warranty does not cover defects caused by misuse, improper installation, changes to the product, improper maintenance or repair work, failure to carry out normal routine maintenance, or wear and tear due to professional use.
