Garden fireplace square
On this page, you will find all square garden fireplaces in our webshop. Square garden fireplaces are popular for their sleek, modern look and efficient heat distribution. Their shape means they fit perfectly on terraces, in lounge sets or against a wall, making them a stylish and space-saving choice.
Why choose a square garden fireplace?
- Modern and sleek look, perfect for a modern or industrial garden.
- Space-saving design, easy to place against a wall or in a corner.
- Wide fire opening for a good view of the fire and atmospheric flames.
- Often fitted with a door or spark screen for extra safety and reduced smoke pollution.
Placement of square garden fireplace
- Flat, stable surface
Always place your square garden fireplace on a flat and solid surface, such as a stone terrace, concrete floor or a heat-resistant slab. This prevents the fireplace from falling over and ensures that the heat is distributed properly.
- Safe distance from combustible materials
Make sure the garden fire is at a sufficient distance from combustible materials such as garden furniture, wooden fences, plants and canopies. This reduces the risk of fire caused by sparks or heat coming from the fireplace.
- Sheltered from wind
Ideally, place your garden fireplace in a spot that is somewhat protected from strong winds. A sheltered location keeps the flames from blowing too much, which improves heat efficiency and prevents smoke from migrating in unwanted directions.
- Close to social areas
Place the fireplace where you can easily sit and enjoy the fire. A square garden fireplace is perfect for the corner of your patio or garden, where you can create a cosy seating area. Make sure you have enough seating space around the fireplace to make the most of the heat.
- Take smoke removal into account
Do not place the fireplace too close to your house or other buildings, so that smoke and smells do not enter your home. An open space with good air circulation is ideal to minimise smoke development
Use square garden fireplace with plancha
BonFeu's square garden fireplaces not only offer warmth and ambiance, but are also perfect for preparing a delicious meal. Thanks to the option to place a plancha (aka griddle) on the fireplace, you can easily create a versatile garden fireplace barbecue experience. The plancha is evenly heated by the hearth's fire, allowing you to grill, bake and roast quickly and efficiently.
