Celebrate Easter outside
Spring has sprung so we are heading outside again. Turn on the barbecue and prepare the garden with atmospheric decorations to sit outside all evening. Easter is the perfect opportunity to go outside for the first time and celebrate the lovely days of spring.
What exactly is Easter?
The Easter days are originally Christian holidays. On these days it is celebrated that Jesus Christ has risen from the dead. The days always fall on a Sunday and Monday. Easter eggs have their origins elsewhere. they represent rebirth and new life. The origin of these parts of Easter comes from a Germanic tribe in which a myth circulated about a goddess called Ostara. The goddess is said to have transformed a wounded bird into a hare, which then came to lay colored eggs every year. The eggs symbolize rebirth.
The tastiest Easter brunch from the barbecu
This Easter will certainly not be a boring Easter brunch on the table. With a good barbecue or plancha griddle, you can make the tastiest sandwiches, a stuffed pepper with egg or a warm croissant with cheese and ham in no time. With an OFYR cooking unit or the BonFeu BonBiza outdoor kitchen, you can play with the different heat zones on the griddle and prepare something for everyone. Want a soup at brunch? Then place a pan of soup through a grid in the centre of the fire and let it heat up. As you can see, these outdoor kitchens are multifunctional and you can put an entire brunch, lunch or dinner on the table with just one barbecue.
