The Skade axe is a handy axe for camping or in nature. Thanks to the wooden handle with a good finish, the handle will remain beautiful even with heavy use and you can use the axe for years. The small size with a total length of 29.5 cm makes the axe handy and easy to use for small woodworking jobs or for cutting rope.
Damask steel axe head
The axe head, also known as the blade, is made of Damast steel. This type of steel is formed from multiple layers of steel after which it is finished to create a colour difference and pattern in the steel. This colour difference is mainly aesthetic and matches well with the dark wood of the handle.
The handle of the Skade axe is made of rosewood. This type of wood is very durable and harder to work with. The machining requires real craftsmanship. Once machined, the wood will last a long time.
The Skade axe in brief:
✓ Handle made of rosewood, blade made of damask steel ✓ Only 29.5 cm long axe ✓ Fine for use in small woodworking jobs or simple outdoor living ✓ Lies nicely in the hand ✓ Robust appearance ✓ Comes in deluxe storage case and with leather pouch

At Firepit-online.com, we strive to provide high-quality products that meet your expectations. However, we understand that sometimes problems can arise with your purchase. Therefore, we offer warranty options to help you in such situations. In these warranty terms, we want to inform you about the warranty conditions and your rights as a customer.
Manufacturer's warranty
All our products come with a 1 or 2-year manufacturer's warranty, depending on the manufacturer. This warranty covers manufacturing and other defects that occur within the warranty period. Should your item fail due to a manufacturing defect, we will provide a suitable solution. This can range from a free repair to exchanging the product for a new one.
Legal rights
In addition to the manufacturer's warranty, you also retain your legal rights regarding warranty and conformity. These rights are laid down by law and are designed to protect you as a consumer. They enable you to claim warranty and receive a product that meets your reasonable expectations of it.
Defective upon receipt
Always check your product carefully upon receipt. Should you notice any damage immediately upon receipt, please notify us within 5 working days. You can do this by contacting our customer service and reporting the transport and product damage. It is important to attach photos of the damaged product and packaging. The product should not be used before returning it.
Warranty certificate
At Firepit-online.com, the invoice for your order acts as proof of warranty. We therefore request that you keep a copy of the invoice, as it may be requested when making a warranty claim. In some cases, a warranty booklet is also included with the product. Here you can read the specific guarantee conditions again at your leisure.
Exclusions
Although we strive to provide high-quality products, there are some situations where the warranty does not apply. These situations include unevenness, minimal deviations, deformations, bulges, colour differences in the enamelling (on different metals) and rusting due to weathering or improper use of chemicals. In addition, the warranty does not cover defects caused by misuse, improper installation, changes to the product, improper maintenance or repair work, failure to carry out normal routine maintenance, or wear and tear due to professional use.
Our warranty combined with your legal rights as a consumer provide a strong basis to ensure that you are satisfied with your purchase. If you have any questions about the warranty terms or if you would like to make a warranty claim, please feel free to contact our customer service team.
