What is plancha baking?
The concept of plancha baking is actually quite simple. Basically, you are cooking with a 6mm thick baking plate that you can place on a fire basket, garden fireplace or fire bowl. By lighting the fire, the plancha plate becomes red-hot and temperatures of up to 330°C can be reached. This allows you to bake all kinds of delicacies on it. From meat and fish to a fried egg and pancakes. Sounds good right?
