The grill grid is supplied separately and can easily be placed on top of the fire basket. When you have finished grilling and it's time to have a nice drink, remove the grid and enjoy an atmospheric fire.

A fire pit based on an old-fashioned washing machine drum
The BonVes fire basket also stands on the characteristic high legs for which the Bonfeu brand is known. The basket of the BonVes is reminiscent of an old-fashioned washing machine drum. This type of fire basket (with a perforated drum) is known for its high heat output. In addition, the miniscule holes in the steel have a great atmospheric effect during firing.
If you want to have the fire a little higher up in the fire basket (e.g. for grilling), you can simply hang the plateau with handle provided for this purpose at a height. But of course you can also just fire at the bottom of this fire basket!
